Privacy
Private by default, clear by design.
Your questionnaire answers are not saved. BreedCue uses them only to generate the assessment shown in your current browser session; answers and results are not written to the BreedCue database.
My Dog accounts
My Dog is an optional account feature. Clerk processes sign-in details and gives BreedCue a private account identifier. BreedCue stores that identifier only to protect and retrieve your dog profiles; we do not store your password.
If you create a dog profile, BreedCue stores the details you choose to add, such as your dog's name, breed, birth date, sex, weight, note, and up to four photos. Photos are resized, stripped of embedded metadata, and stored in private object storage. Temporary links are created only when your signed-in account loads the profile.
Feedback
If you send product feedback, BreedCue stores the category, message, page, and any reply email you choose to provide. Signed-in feedback may be linked to your account so we can understand and respond to the report. Feedback is not used for advertising.
Technical information
Our hosting provider may process ordinary technical logs needed to operate and protect the service. These may include the time of a request, the requested page, an IP address, browser information, and error details. These logs are not used to build a personal breed-selection profile.
External sources
Report links may take you to independent breed clubs, kennel organizations, or other evidence sources. Their own privacy practices apply after you leave BreedCue.
Current MVP boundary
BreedCue uses privacy-friendly Plausible analytics to understand visits and improve the product. We do not send questionnaire answers, passport contents, dog names, email addresses, or account identifiers to analytics. BreedCue does not use advertising trackers or sell personal data.
